Decoration options
Since every event requires individual decoration, we are happy to recommend our external service providers.
For your event space, we provide table linen, napkins, and chair covers if needed.

Can we store our wedding cake with you?
To keep your wedding cake in perfect condition, we are happy to store it in our cold storage. This way you can be sure it will look and taste exactly as you imagined for your big moment. Just let us know when you would like to drop it off!

Is it allowed to bring our own cake?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own cake! For providing tableware and cleaning it afterwards, we charge a plating fee of € 5.00 per person.

How loud can the music be after 10 pm?
Even after 10 pm, you can enjoy your music at a pleasant volume – depending on the location and whether the wedding couple has reserved rooms with us, the music may also be played louder. Official quiet hours begin at 4 am.

So nothing stands in the way of a long and joyful celebration!

Can components of the different buffets/menus be exchanged?
Absolutely! We want you to have the perfect menu for your special day. That’s why you can exchange and adapt the components of the different buffets and menus just the way you like. The final selection will then be coordinated once again with our head chef to ensure everything is prepared to perfection.

Is a beverage package worth it?
A beverage package can be a great option to better calculate the costs of your event.

You have the security of knowing that your guests will be well taken care of throughout the entire celebration, without having to worry about rising costs. Plus, there are no unpleasant surprises on the final bill – the price remains fixed.

We are happy to help you find the best solution, ensuring that your celebration will be unforgettable for both you and your guests.

Are rooms included in the minimum purchase requirement?
Whether rooms are part of the minimum requirement depends on the location and the size of the wedding. We are happy to advise you individually to find the best options for your celebration and ensure that everything is well coordinated.

By when does the final guest count need to be confirmed?
Ideally, the exact number of guests should be communicated at least two weeks before the event. Please note that cancellation fees may apply. You will find your cancellation terms in the event contract. We recommend confirming only the number of guests who have already given a firm commitment. In any case, we are happy to support you as best as possible!

Are there costs for a bad-weather alternative with an outdoor ceremony?
No, there are no additional costs for the bad-weather alternative. Only the location that is actually used will be charged – either the one for the outdoor ceremony or the bad-weather option, depending on what is needed on the day of the celebration.

Can a candy or salty bar be brought in by the couple?
Yes, absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own candy or salty bar at no extra charge. We are delighted when you offer something special to your guests!

Can we provide a sound system and microphone?
To set the perfect stage for your celebration, we are happy to provide a microphone and sound system for an additional charge of €60.00.

Please note that this is a standard sound system and cannot replace a professional DJ or live band.

What do we charge for your service providers?
For your service providers such as a DJ or photographer, we charge a flat fee of €25 per person. They are welcome to help themselves at the buffet. Drinks will be charged based on consumption, ensuring they are well taken care of too.

Optionally, or if you choose a menu, we will reserve a table for your service providers in the restaurant, where they can order à la carte.

Are flowers or confetti allowed to be scattered? Is a fog machine permitted?
No, unfortunately scattering flowers or confetti is not allowed due to our high-quality, sensitive wooden floors, which may become stained. However, we are happy to help you find a creative alternative that makes your celebration just as beautiful!
The use of fog machines is also not possible due to our highly sensitive fire alarms.

As an alternative, we are happy to recommend a provider who rents cold spark machines.

Is early check-in and late check-out possible?
If room availability allows, early check-in and late check-out are no problem. We are flexible and will do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible – just let us know and we will find a suitable solution!

Have you considered a changing room?
If you have not reserved overnight stays with us and are planning several outfits for your special day, we recommend reserving one of our rooms as a changing room.

Do we offer a shuttle service?
We do not provide our own shuttle service, but you can book one through an external provider. In our recommendation list, you will find reliable companies that can arrange this service for you.

Are there enough high chairs?
Each of our hotels has about 2–3 high chairs available. Should you need more, just let us know – we’ll be happy to take care of it so that even the little guests can sit comfortably!

Where is smoking allowed?
Smokers are welcome to gather outside on our terraces to enjoy the fresh air. This way, the indoor areas remain pleasant for all non-smokers.

Is it possible to have coffee & cake?
With us, you have the wonderful opportunity to enjoy coffee in a variety of ways. Each hotel offers individual options perfectly tailored to your wishes – whether you’re in the mood for a classic espresso, a creamy cappuccino, or a special creation. Let yourself be inspired by our diverse coffee selection and treat yourself to a little break. We look forward to delighting you with our high-quality coffee specialties!

Are there additional costs after midnight?
From midnight onwards, the statutory night surcharge of €45.00 per staff member applies to cover the additional effort during late hours. This ensures that your guests are well looked after throughout the night.

Can you also decorate the event space and distribute guest gifts?
Yes, we are happy to decorate the event space for you and also distribute guest gifts. For these additional services, we charge a staff fee of €45.00 per started hour, or €2.50 to €5.00 for distributing gifts to guest rooms.

Do you have the option to display our seating plan?
Of course, we can display your seating plan. We provide an easel for a fee of €10.

Optionally, you may also use a Samsung Flip or a projector.

How does the dismantling work?
The dismantling depends on whether the event space is needed the following day. If the room is free the next day, you will have the whole day to take everything down at your leisure.

If the event space is not free the next day, we will set aside external decorations and kindly ask you to pick them up in the morning.

When can we decorate the room?
We can let you know one week in advance when the room will be available for decoration. Of course, you can also reserve the room the day before, though in that case a room rental fee will apply.

Do children pay the same price as adults?
Children do not pay the full price for food and beverage packages. For children aged 0 to 6 years, these are free of charge. For children aged 6 to 12 years, we offer a reduced rate of 50% off the regular prices.

Can you help cut our wedding cake?
Of course, we are happy to assist with cutting your wedding cake! Our staff costs are € 45.00 per started hour.

How are intolerances and allergies considered in the menu selection?
We recommend asking your guests about intolerances and allergies when sending out your invitations. Depending on the number and type of dietary requirements, we will adapt the menu selection individually to ensure everyone is well taken care of.

Civil Wedding Ceremony at the Castle Ruins

When are the dates allocated?
From September onwards, the local registry office allocates the dates for the following year. Please note that only the registry office assigns the dates – we have no influence on this.
The ceremonies take place every hour.

Is electricity available?
Yes, electricity is available in the vaulted cellar/registry office.

Can the civil wedding ceremony also take place outdoors at the castle?
No, according to the law, the ceremony must be conducted in the vaulted cellar/registry office.
